Before you can schedule appointments, Scheduling Resources must be created in the Administration module. This is normally done with assistance from Amkai personnel when your account is first created, but you will need to add additional Resources such as Providers and Equipment as you continue to use AmkaiOffice.
After a Scheduling Resource is added in the Administration module, there may be further setup required in the Scheduling module before you can use this Resource to schedule appointments. This section describes the setup performed in the Scheduling module.
Note: When setting up an "over book" appointment, the Room, Physician, and Appointment Type must be set up to allow overbooking. The Physician must be set to allow overbooking if he/she is being overbooked. Conflict Checking will alert schedulers to problems with one or more Scheduling Resources during the scheduling process.
