Staff Role
The Staff Role dictionary describes the various functions performed 
 by personnel in the facility.
	- Registered Nurse
- Scrub Tech
- Surgeon
- Anesthesiologist
- CRNA
- Business Office Manager
- Biller
- Receptionist  
The items entered here will be associated to staff/physicians and referenced 
 in the CDM, Administration (Passport), Cost Management and Scheduling 
 Modules of AmkaiOffice. If no direct labor cost is entered in the HR module, 
 case costing will look to Average Cost 
 Per Minute, which is assigned on the Staff Role Level. These roles 
 will also be referenced in AmkaiCharts, if applicable.
This dictionary is shared (across BE's within same BG)
	- Click New Item from the 
	 Actions sectionActions section 
	 in the upper right of the dictionary and complete the following fields: 
	 
	
	- 
		- Quick 
		 Code: Enter a short name for 
		 the item. Quick Codes can be up to 15 alphanumeric characters,are 
		 mandatory and must be unique. If the Auto generate quick codes 
		 Preference has been enabled, this filed will populate when the Name field 
		 has been completed and you tab off of the field.
- Name: Description of 
		 the item
- License kind: Select 
		 the type of license required for this staff position from the 
		 drop down menu, if applicable.
- Role Kind: Select the 
		 role (if any) this staff role plays in the perioperative process 
		 (PACU Nurse, Scrub Nurse, Other clinical, etc.)
- Average cost per minute: If 
		 no direct labor cost is entered in the HR module, case costing 
		 will look to this field.
 
	- Generate 
	 quick code: If 
	 the Preference to Auto generate quick code has been set, this field 
	 will be displayed when new items are added to the dictionary. If a 
	 quick code has not been set or if you would like to override the code 
	 that has been entered in the field, click the button to have the system 
	 generate a quick code.
