When the user clicks the Verify button during the process of Electronic Insurance Verification, AmkaiOffice performs a number of data checks to make sure it has all of the information it needs to send a verification request electronically. Below is a list of potential error messages that may appear, what they mean and how to resolve them.
Many of the error messages relate to improper or incomplete setup of the Electronic Insurance Verification feature. To learn how to set up this feature, see Implementing Electronic Insurance Verification.

Either the EMC Payor Code or the Verification Payor Code must be filled in.
Definition. For the Insurance Plan listed, both the EMC Payor Code and the Verification Payor Code are blank.
Resolution. The system will check both payor code fields. It will check the Verification Payor Code first for a value. If a value is present it will be used. If a value is not present, the system will then check the EMC Payor Code field for a value. If it is present it will be used. If it is not present, then the error above will be generated. Users should fill in at least one of the values.
Note: Often, the EMC Payor Code used for claims submission is the same code used for verification. In order to minimize data entry, AmkaiOffice will check the EMC Payor Code when the Verification Payor Code is blank. So users only need to enter a value in the Verification Payor Code if the code is different than the value in the EMC Payor Code.

If connectivity is confirmed, it would be best to contact Client Services to determine the root cause of the issue.

Resolution. Make sure the URL value is correct for the vendor. If the address is confirmed, contact the vendor to make sure they are no experiencing any issues with their system that would prevent connectivity or a transfer of data. If connectivity and transfer ability is confirmed, it would be best to contact Client Services to determine the root cause of the issue.
