Recommended Practices for Setting Preferences

We suggest giving consideration to setting some Preferences at the Business Entity level, or higher, to ensure consistency throughout the system.

Preferences such as Quick Code Generation, Case Naming, and Patient Statement Preferences may best be managed at a higher level to ensure that all users understand how the system is generating the data used by all users in the system.

In the case of Patient Statements, it may be best to present a standard look and feel of the statements for patients as to what data is always displayed on statements and what is not.
